RenoRun Delivers “Impossible” Materials Order to JointIt WoodWorking When Other Suppliers Refuse

Business Name: JointIt WoodWorking
Specialties: Home Renovation & Custom Woodworking
RenoRun Customer Since: 2020
Uses RenoRun: Regularly, even for "impossible" material deliveries
It was February 8th, 2020 when RenoRun delivered a bulk load of materials to JointIt WoodWorking in Toronto, on the east side of Spadina, just a couple blocks north of Queen. This delivery was part of a full-gut condo renovation above a restaurant, but came with a unique set of challenges.
JointIt’s usual drywall supplier refused the boom service because the condo project was located on a small side street where permits are required, with electrical cables overhead. Delivering by hand on the second storey wasn’t possible because of the tight staircase and the weight of 12-ft sheets of firecode drywall. The materials had to be put on the roof, but not all at once because the roof would not be able to support the weight. The solution was to use a carry-deck crane to lift the materials bunch-by-bunch, while the JointIt crew carried them inside.
JointIt Woodworking was a new RenoRun client when they quoted the order with us. We were happy to arrange the carry-deck crane to meet our RenoRun delivery trucks onsite, and also offered JointIt bulk pricing on the materials. They’ve since started ordering from us regularly.
